Utah Valley Civic Ballet presents Coppelia, a comical, light-hearted, story ballet that is enjoyable for all ages. Coppelia is the delightful tale of an inventor and his life-like dolls. Coppelia, his favorite doll, sits on the balcony of a magical toy shop, apparently reading and never speaking to anyone. A young man named Franz blows kisses at Coppelia as she sits on the balcony. Swanhilda sees Franz flirting with Coppelia and becomes jealous. Swanhilda soon learns that Coppelia is actually a doll that belongs to the toy maker, Doctor Coppelius. She decides to impersonate the doll, in order to win the love of Franz. Chaos ensues! Come see the ballet to see how it ends.
