The Company

The Utah Valley Civic Ballet is a non-profit organization that promotes classical ballet in the community. Since 1990, UVCB has brought together locally trained dancers of all ages to rehearse and perform. Each season, the company of presents quality productions with a full range of historic classic and contemporary works.

Utah Valley Civic Ballet is devoted to providing additional performance opportunities to all types of dancers. Many individuals dance all throughout their childhood and teenage years, investing countless time and energy, only to stop once they graduate secondary school or university. We believe ballet is meant to be enjoyed by people of all ages and backgrounds.

Additionally, in many classical ballet training programs, students are only exposed to performing in environments such as regular class, competitions, or recitals. We invite dancers from all studios to add onto their curriculum with this opportunity to perform in full-length ballet productions, filled with a storyline, acting, costumes, and scenery.

As a non-profit Utah Valley Civic Ballet is run almost exclusively from local volunteers donating their time and talents to the community.

Utah Valley Civic Ballet has been the recipient of a CARE Grant given by the City of Orem from 2010 to 2015.
