La Fille Mal Gardée is a comical ballet with dancing chickens, a love triangle, and a celebration of spring! A country girl, Lise, falls in love with a poor farmer, Colas. This is contrary to who her mother has arranged for her to marry, Alain, the son of a wealthy vineyard owner.
